Stephen Eley

Biography

Steve Eley was a Partner at a Private Equity firm, BCI Partners, from 1990 through 2007. BCI focused on providing growth capital to private and public companies in the media, services and manufacturing sectors with three funds totaling $665 million in capital commitments. Mr. Eley co-invested with Mr. Fechtmeyer in two highly successful transactions, Olympic Financial, which grew from a startup to become the fourth largest auto finance company in the U.S. and Casella Waste, which became the largest integrated waste management company in New England. Prior to joining BCI, Mr. Eley was employed by AMEV Holdings/Venture Management, a venture capital firm, in New York from 1986 to 1989 and by Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., an accounting and consultant firm, from 1983 to 1986.

Mr. Eley serves on the board of directors of Piedmont Television Holdings, LLC, BullsEye Telecom, Inc., and Catamount Holdings, LLC, all of which are privately-held companies. Mr. Eley received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Steve enjoys attending music festivals-especially with his love of Jazz.
